The beginning of everything
I was born and raised in Italy, near a small town X on the northern side of the country.
Growing up in such a small place, it’s easy to start wondering what’s beyond the horizon — and for someone as curious as me, that feeling only grew stronger over time.
At 20, I packed my bags and moved to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa.
ON THAT YEAR EVERYTHING CHANGED.
From there, I went on to live and work in the UK, Australia again, and the Netherlands and i also spent a few unforgettable moments of my life in Spain, Egypt, and China — each experience distinctly leaving its mark.
The birth of the philosophy
I was never hooked on sports or outdoor activities. In 2017, after returning from the UK, I was in poor health, mainly due to my unhealthy habits, but an inner voice told me something had to change.
I randomly picked up a bicycle—a broken one from my garden. Years later, after moving to Amsterdam and working in a bike-centric environment, my perspective shifted completely, and some colleagues of mine helped me to have a wider point of view regarding bicycles, urban mobility and sports in general.
My first bikepacking trip in 2024—the Corsica seaside loop—was amazing. From there, I was hooked on bike-packing adventures, trekking and other activities.
The story continues
Traveling taught me that home isn’t one fixed place. It’s everywhere — in the faces you meet, the languages you don’t yet speak, and the shared moments that remind us we’re not that different after all.
The further I go, the more I feel at home with newcomers and strangers. In the end, we’re all part of one big story — life, and that’s what keeps me exploring new places, new languages, new foods, new customs, and meeting new people.
